Bio
Nurse practitioner Sharnette Washington (pronounced “Shar net / Wash een ton”) has been caring for the health and wellbeing of patients since 2018. She has clinical interest in cardiology.
Sharnette completed her associates degree in nursing at Estrella Mountain Community College in Avondale, AZ. She completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ. Sharnette is a certified as a family nurse practitioner (FNP-C) and is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), where she has been recognized for her professionalism and leadership. Sharnette served as leadership at Estrella Mountain Community College's National Student Nurses Association (NSNA).
She has also served as a preceptor for nursing students and family nurse practitioners. In her free time, Sharnette enjoys spending time with her two children and dog. She serves on the board of a local non-profit organization devoted to community charity work. Her hobbies include gardening, cooking, hosting events, making candles and drawing.
