Dr. Shiva Satish has been practicing Medicine nearly 30 years with a focus on Geriatric Medicine, caring for older adults. He is board-certified in both Internal Medicine, and Geriatric Medicine.
Dr. Satish received his postgraduate degree in Medicine at Government Medical College, University of Mysore in Mysore, Karnataka, India. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. Subsequently he completed his Geriatric Fellowship at Stanford University, Stanford ,CA. Dr. Satish also has a Master’s degree in Public Health from Yale University in New Haven, CT. After competing his Geriatric fellowship he joined the division of Geriatrics at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, Texas. After completing his 9 year tenure as an assistant and associate professor of internal medicine/geriatrics at UTMB, he moved to primary care practice in Sugar land, Texas.
In addition to English, Dr. Satish speaks fluent Kannada.
