Nurse practitioner Stephannie Goodrum (pronounced “Stef ah nee / Good rum”) is committed to the health and well-being of her patients. She started nursing in 2003 and became a family nurse practitioner in 2017. Stephannie has clinical interest in cardiology and pulmonology.
Stephannie earned an associate’s degree from West Kentucky Community and Technical College (formerly known as Paducah Community College) in Paducah, KY. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau. She then completed her nurse practitioner training at South University in Savannah, GA. Stephannie is a certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-C) with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and holds certifications in basic life support (BLS), advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) and pediatric life support (PALS). Stephannie has also worked as an adjunct clinical instructor and has conducted various medical research projects. She is a member of AANP and the Kentucky Coalition of Nurse Practitioners & Nurse Midwives (KANPNM).
When she is not treating patients, Stephannie spends time with her husband and two children. Children’s cancer research is a cause that is especially important to her, so she participates and volunteers at fundraisers. She also enjoys reading and running.
