Tia Waikem, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner who specializes in Family Medicine. She began her practice in 2021. Tia’s clinical interests include cardiovascular disease, diabetes management, wound care, weight loss strategies, and women's health. Her certification was awarded by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
Tia studied at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she pursued her undergraduate degree in Nursing. Further advancing her education, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio. On a personal note, Tia values spending quality time with her family. She also has a keen interest in outdoor activities such as hiking and golfing. She is also passionate about exploring new places through traveling and is an avid reader.
