Timothy Doyle, DO

Board-certified in family medicine and osteopathic manipulative medicine, Dr. Tim Doyle (Doy-ul) treats patients ranging from infants to adults, performing adult physical exams, well-woman exams, well-child exams and Medicare annual wellness visits. Practicing since 2004, Dr. Doyle’s clinical interests include hypothyroidism, diabetes mellitus, migraine prevention, osteopathic manipulative medicine, medical acupuncture, and joint and trigger-point injections. 

Timothy earned his undergraduate degree in mathematics and physics at the University of Texas at Arlington. He attended medical school at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center (HSC) in Fort Worth. He also completed his residency in family medicine and osteopathic manipulative medicine at HSC. Dr. Doyle has additional training in medical acupuncture and prolotherapy. He is SAMHSA-certified for treating opioid dependence and also holds a PhD in physics from Texas Christian University.

In this career, he has received recognition from two different organizations as a “top doctor.” Active in the professional medical community, he is a member of the Texas Osteopathic Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the Texas College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine Alumni Association.

Dr. Doyle is an assistant adjunct professor at the University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine in San Antonio, and has held professional roles in family medicine with organizations including the Department of Transportation National Register of Certified Medical Examiners, FAA Aerospace (as a medical examiner), the American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians, and Texas Workers Compensation (as a treating physician).

When he’s not helping his patients, Timothy enjoys fishing, swimming, hunting, woodworking, gardening and cooking (especially desserts). He also loves science fiction and fantasy literature.
