Troy Fiesinger, MD

Troy Fiesinger, MD, graduated cum laude from Duke University and attended Baylor College of Medicine, where he received his medical degree. He completed his family medicine residency at East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina. He is board certified in family medicine and is available to see male and female patients of all ages, from infants to elderly, at the Village Family Practice of Fort Bend location.

Dr. Fiesinger has been a practicing physician since 1999. He was a staff physician at Baylor Scott & White Clinic in Waco as well as the Regional Clinic Director for Quality and Safety at Baylor Scott & White Clinic in Temple. As a faculty physician from 2009 through 2015, Dr. Fiesinger enjoyed sharing his knowledge and love of family medicine with physician residents at both the Conroe Family Medicine Residency Program in Conroe and Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program in Houston. He is well published and respected in the field of family medicine.

Dr. Fiesinger is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Medical Association, American Medical Association, and Harris County Medical Society. He actively participates in each organization, having held several leadership positions including Committee member, Board member, Board Chair, Treasurer, Vice-President and President. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Fiesinger enjoys caring for adolescent patients, particularly those with asthma or ADHD. He has a special interest in managing the treatment of patients with chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, asthma and COPD. Another area of focus is preventive care and well care to children, teens and adults. Dr. Fiesinger often performs small office procedures including skin biopsies and excisions, cryotherapy, suturing and joint injections.

Dr. Fiesinger is fluent in Spanish. When he is not in his medical practice, Dr. Fiesinger appreciates spending time with family, running, biking, camping and reading.
