Victor Salcedo, MD

Victor Salcedo, MD, is a highly experienced physician specializing in pulmonary medicine. With over three decades of practice, he has developed clinical expertise in various areas, including pulmonary fibrosis, interstitial lung disease, advanced asthma, COPD, pulmonary hypertension, obstructive sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome and narcolepsy. 

Dr. Salcedo's academic journey began with his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland. He pursued his medical education at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara and completed his residency training at Walter Reed Medical Center. During this time at Walter Reed, he also pursued fellowship training in pulmonary disease and critical care, further developing his skills in these specialized fields. 

Having served as Chief of the Pulmonary Disease Department at Letterman Army Medical Center in San Francisco, CA., Dr. Salcedo is a retired Major in the United States Army. His military service gives him valuable experience and a strong foundation in providing comprehensive pulmonary care to his patients. 

Dr. Salcedo holds certification from the American Board of Medical Specialties in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Disease, reflecting his commitment to maintaining the highest medical knowledge and practice standards. He is an active member of the Harris County Medical Society and the Texas Medical Association, engaging with professional communities to stay up to date with advancements in the field and contribute to the medical community. 

Beyond professional endeavors, Dr. Salcedo enjoys pursuing his hobbies. He is an avid guitar player and enjoys traveling, balancing his passion for medicine and his personal interests.
