Bio
Since 1996, Dr. Alfredo Ermac, Jr. has been dedicated to providing his patients with quality medical care. Board certified in Family Medicine, Dr. Ermac values interpersonal connection, and appreciates lasting relationships with patients, their families, and their friends.
Dr. Ermac earned his undergraduate major in biology and minor in chemistry in the honors program at the University of Houston. He attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) at Galveston. He completed his training at the St. Joseph Hospital Family Practice Residence Program. He is a member of multiple professional organizations, including the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Board of Family Medicine (where he is also a diplomate) and the Harris County Medical Society. He is capable of communicating in Medical Spanish, and works as an associate clinical professor with the UTMB School of Medicine, helping to train the doctors, physician assistants, and nurses of the future.
Born in the Philippines, Dr. Ermac grew up in Chicago, Illinois before moving to Houston in 1981. When not treating patients, Dr. Ermac enjoys exercise, travel, snowboarding, wakeboarding, dancing, movies, motorsports, exploring Houston's restaurant scene, and spending time with his wife and their family and friends
