Marcela Riojas, MD, started practicing in 2010, focusing on Family Medicine. She is very interested in integrative and functional medicine, obesity medicine, and wellness care.
Dr. Riojas studied at the University of Texas at San Antonio. She went to medical school at Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara. She completed her family medicine residency training at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She is certified by the American Board of Family Physicians and the American Board of Obesity Medicine.
Dr. Riojas is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the Institute of Functional Medicine. She speaks both English and Spanish.
When not at work, Dr. Riojas loves to travel and cook.
