Melissa Wilkin, NP

As a dedicated family nurse practitioner, Melissa Wilkin enjoys helping her patients build fulfilling, healthy and happy lives. Melissa earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Texas Woman's University in Houston. She completed her graduate nurse residency program at Ben Taub Hospital - Harries Health System in Houston. Her areas of clinical interest include neurology, pediatrics and wilderness, and travel medicine. She is a member of the North Harris Montgomery Advanced Practice Nurse Society, the Texas Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). 

In practice since 2016 prior to joining Village Medical in 2019, Melissa looks forward to furthering the patient-focused medical services that Village Medical offers the local community.  

For Melissa, Texas has always been home. She was born and raised in the Houston area, grew up in The Woodlands and currently lives in Conroe. Her husband is a firefighter paramedic for the Houston Fire Department. Together they have a young daughter. When Melissa is not helping patients, she and her husband like being active and outdoors as a family. Melissa enjoys hiking, cycling, camping, fantasy football, and running in half marathons. She also appreciates opportunities to travel and explore other countries and cultures.
