Bio
Shin Jung Yoon (pronounced “Sh in / J uh ng / You n”), MD, is dedicated to providing her patients with quality care. Dr. Yoon started practicing in 2018 with clinical interest in preventive medicine, obesity, and adult and geriatric medicine.
Dr. Yoon earned her undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering, biosystems engineering and psychology from the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. She then obtained a master’s degree in biosystems engineering from the University of Arizona. Dr. Yoon attended medical school at the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in St. Kitts in the Caribbean. She completed her residency at Beaumont Hospital in Grosse Pointe, MI, with a focus in family medicine. Dr. Yoon is also fluent in Korean.
On a personal note, Dr. Yoon enjoys drawing, painting, baking, cooking, listening to music and dancing.
